Apple doesn't fall far from the tree

Tonight I got home from work to mr j and the girls in the garage. Last Saturday we raised a barn (more of that here). We hadn't quite recovered this week (house, kitchen floor, garage)--there were still little messes everywhere. So mr. j determined that tonight he was getting his workshop and garage at large in line.
h used the tape measure at every opp.
e used the power drill and screw driver and leftover wood to create a "window"

her plan is to put paper behind the window frame, sketch a scene on it, and then add a few children in the foreground looking through the window at the view she creates on the paper.
genius.
okay. i've really tried not to be that mom, you know that one that is painfully biased and braggy. but seriously?! i am so inspired by her creativity! we helped her assemble the pieces, work through a few design glitches along the way, drill out counter sinks and hold the drill while she put the screws in. the screws along the bottom are her concept of hooks. probably for hats, she says.

  1. You can be braggy. That is genius. Way to support and encourage the creativity.
